I listened to him tell a story about an "everyday delema" and the man had me hooked on every word. He truely has a gift for story telling... written and spoken. I was curious to see what his book was about so I looked at the preview of ILLLIGITIMATE CHILD....when the preview stopped mid story I was hooked and desperately wanted to know what was going to happen to the little girl. I had to buy the book to find out.Each story keeps you turning the pages...the depth of the character descriptions and history build up leaves you wanting to know more about them and gives you a feeling of connection/understanding. The stories are reality based making it easy to connect with the issues that the characters experiene.My favorite story was WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO FOREVER? because it gives you some "food for thought" on relationships, as well as, telling a good story. NICOLI IS MY NAME was a bit sad in parts but also has the same quality. I loved how the story explored the life lessons that Nicoli experienced and the relationship he had with his father (even without knowing who he was).1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. The stories were very well written, they keep you turning page after page. i haven't enjoyed reading this much in quite some time. UnderstandingBy shantayaThe author is a man of many words. Full of life and energy. Shattered is a book that gace my inner thoughts a voice. The book allows you to see sunshine beyond the dark clouds. Nothing is like a book that you can relate too. IN the book, Shattered I felt as though I was with the characters as they lived their daily lives. Someone somewhere is going through what your going through and this book reminded me of that. I enjoyed the words and messages behind them.. Everything that shattered is not always broken. Through time and patience all can be fixed.. Enjoy Shattered as much as I did.
