Great book with great messages in every 101 storiesBy DeenaI bought this book as I'm a fan of Jo Dee Messina so essentially bought it to support her, silly as that sounds. I haven't read a Chicken Soup for the Soul book in YEARS. But I was ready! Like in days past, the book kept me glued to it, wanting to read story after story and time passed without me realizing. Lots of different sections for different types of mom stories and I absolutely loved it. Yes, the book isn't just about Jo Dee Messina, as she had one story in it (which was actually a really good one and kept memories for me and wanting to add stuff in my life). But all of the stories were fantastic. My daughter is only four so this wouldn't impact her but I am definitely going to pass this on to my mom and I know she'll love it as well. Mediocre StoriesBy KathleenI have dozens of Chicken Soup for the Soul Books and this would probably be one of my least favorite. I am a mother and I thought the stories would be much more sentimental. Some of the stories were good, but most were mediocre to me. Normally I can't put one of these books down, but I found myself struggling to get through this one. Maybe I just had unrealistic expectations. The three stars are meant as a comparison to the other Chicken Soup for the Soul Books, I would give it more stars when compared to most other reading materials.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.
