Full of details and medical background that explains the biological and physiological reasons why orgasmic birth can be a logical expectation and not just wishful thinking. It really helped me feel much more calm about my upcoming first birthing experience. Even though I don't expect an orgasmic birth as is described by many patients in this book, I feel I know enough now to help me adapt and cope with the pain of childbirth, thus reducing it as much as possible.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Good stories and supportBy ZaneI appreciate that there is such book. It really gave me confidence of giving birth naturally. The best I liked stories, that showed me how different birthing experience could be. I also liked many tests, where I could test myself how much I am prepared for birth emotionally, psihologically, phisically, how good is my nutrition and knowledge. I also appreciate part about orgasmic experience of women during birth, but what I was missing - that is very concrete system how to train for orgasmic birth. Ok, to cure my sexual traumas, but there were no concrete advises for that. Anyway - good book and worth to buy and read it.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. A Must Read for Birthing!By JenniferThis is a MUST read for any pregnant mom. Very inspiring was the stories at the end of the book, along with the knowledge base of how to have an amazing and powerful birth. Despite some of the reviews I did NOT feel the book was judgemental or critical. Rather the book did an excellent job displaying how birth can be compared to what we are typically exposed to through the media.
