With my son, seven years ago, I remember that I was never ill, but instead simply bone tired, my patience short and my stomach enormous. I know that with each of them, I was scared and elated, both. I wish I remembered more. That is why I created this little book. For you: so that you will have something to help you record all the little momentsand big momentsover these next nine (ten?) months. So you will have the chance to write down what you want for your child before you meet him or her, before their wonderful inclinations shape your expectations and modify your dreams with reality. This book exists so that one day, when you have a few precious spare moments, you can look back at your hopes and plans for your child before they were tethered to an actual person, when it was all only possibility. what are the best free books on kindle From Pea to Pumpkin: A Pregnancy Journal

Often the weekly entries are off or irrelevant to me. When does it ask about kicking or flutters? Not the weeks I felt them. It also asks about gender the wrong weeks, we found out early because we got genetic testing done. And it asks about birth plans early 2nd trimester. Well we didn't have one yet, most people don't do that or take birthing classes until 3rd trimester if it's there first. I end up scratching out the prompts each week and writing what I think is important, like when we told grandparents, which is making the journal pretty ugly. The only places to write freely in this book are 3 places, one at the end of each trimester. The prompts need to be more basic like pregnancy and baby milestones, preparations made, etc. Instead it's stuff like "Romance is getting _____ right now." I thought the prompts would be helpful in causing me to remember to write stuff down but they're not. The few positive things I can say about this journal is that it looks like the build quality is nice, it's aesthetically pleasing, and the fruit/vegetable comparisons each week are cute (but these comparisons take up half the space in the journal).3 of 3 people found the following review helpful. Cute and sweet book.By Lauren HernandezI bought this book and filled it out for my daughter. I liked it so much, I bought another for my next pregnancy. It's cute that it allows for several keepsakes throughout my pregnancy (pictures, ultrasounds, announcements, ect).My only criticism is that is seems slightly targeted at first pregnancies. Other than that, I really enjoyed writing in in both last time and now. Right now, I just occasionally change some words in sentences to make them more applicable to my subsequent pregnancy. :)1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Beautiful and fun pregnancy journalBy Lacey DiasThis journal is so perfect for my pregnancy! Being a veggie loving vegan, it suits my personality - however even if you aren't that much in alignment, it's perfect for week by week tracking of your experiences, attaching photos, and sharing your journey through pregnancy! Love the format (I've looked through every page already, even though I'm only 6 weeks), has a ribbon marker for easily finding where you left off, beautiful design and will be fun to share with family and baby! Excellent decision and I'm even more excited to fill it in now, thank you!
