Helpful and hysterical!By knittingalThis book is both an informative guide to the emotional and physiological processes of pregnancy as well as a hysterical observation of some of it's more bizarre and challenging elements. Author Joanne Kimes has a delightfully frank and insightful voice and refreshingly unique take which makes this guide an important addition to every expectant mom's collection. Working hand in hand with the medical community she dispels myths and clearly explains everything you will ever need to know (and often were afraid to ask) about this miraculous time of life.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Hilarious - a must read for all pregnant gals!By JRoon04I loved this book! It was funny, blunt, and to the point! I had no questions about what was going to be happening to my pregnant self after reading this book because everything was covered - and it was everything that no one wants to discuss or talk about. I didn't realize so many odd things could happen while being pregnant, and thankfully for this book I was up to speed as to what could happen. I've passed it on to my pregnant friends and will continue to do so because she speaks the truth - and in a fun, engaging read too!
