The book has a hard cover and a nice weight to it. I'm using a regular pen to fill it out but the pages are thick and probably wouldn't bleed through if you used a gel pen or something similar. I like that the book had a few ideas in the back for ways to fill it out. The questions are very open-ended and not quite what I was expecting but have definitely caused me to pause and think a bit. Not a book for those looking to just capture memories as it includes spaces for what you wish for your Mom, ways you think your resemble her, words that make you think of her, etc.There is lots of room to write your thoughts though so those who like to elaborate will appreciate the space given.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful.
