From the PublisherFROM THE INTRODUCTION: Welcome to the fifth edition of the "Friendly Divorce Guidebook for Colorado." Five editions in just under nine years illustrate the fast-changing nature of the divorce process in Colorado. Change means we must revise in order to keep up our commitment to you to provide accurate and current information for doing your own divorce in our beautiful state. This edition is updated for legal, tax, and procedural changes through the 2003 federal income tax reduction. We have also added information about the ending of a living together relationship where a couple ceases to be partners, and where law and procedure is sometimes the same as, and in many places significantly different from, that for dissolution of marriage. You can read the Guidebook chapter by chapter, in order, going through every step in the contemporary, amicable Colorado divorce. You can also begin anywhere in it. Each chapter contains a complete topic. Look for specific questions as they occur to you. You can use the index and treat this book like an encyclopedia.About the AuthorS.W. What Is A Design Form

8 of 8 people found the following review helpful. Made filing cheap and simple!By Shannon in ColoradoThis book was an indispensable resource throughout my entire non-contested, Colorado divorce. The book comes with a CD including all the forms you'll need (saving you money as the form packet at the courthouse costs money), plus a helpful overview of the entire process, great advice and words of caution (regarding things I would have certainly overlooked or realized too late!), and step-by-step instructions on how to fill out the forms. Thanks to this book, I never had to consult a lawyer or mediator, and saved lots of time and money. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is pursuing a non-contested divorce in Colorado! Good luck.
