About the AuthorLisa Dumas Harris was born July 9 in Ft. Myers, Florida. In 1988, Lisa graduated from Riverdale High School. A year later, she joined the US Army. After four years of active duty, Lisa was honorably discharged and returned to hometown Ft. Myers, Florida where she enrolled at Edison Community College. It was there she received an Associate of Arts degree. Lisa then pursued to fulfill her objective of becoming a nurse. Upon receiving her nursing license, Lisa was employed by the Ft. Myers, Veterans Affairs Department Outpatient Clinic. She practiced nursing for two years before venturing into a real estate career. Lisa is currently a licensed realtor affiliate of Weichert Realtors, Prestige Properties. She's also a real estate investor and co-owner of ALH Properties, LLC along with her husband Al Harris. Lisa finds herself one again, welcoming new experiences and embracing greater challenges. Her most recent project and accomplishment are establishing a small privately owned publishing company, Independent Vision of Richmond Hill, Georgia. From beginning to end...GOOD!!By Ma'at Nefer RaI was walking into this store and the author was out front selling her books. I love supporting authors but the one thing that stuck out to me with this author is how real she is. I knew I was in for a real treat and I was not disappointed. From the first chapter I was engrossed in a world that is a reality for to many of America's youth. The perseverance shown by the main character is what should be taught in our schools because it will not happen in the home. I thank the author for a story that is gritty but sprinkled with enough fairy tale to make this enjoyable read. I recommend this book highly only if 1. You love suspense, 2. Like just the right amount of drama, and 3. Looking for an author you can rely on to deliver more great books.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Lisa is an excellent author and I highly recommend this book.
