Just too poetic, but don't feel very applicable to me. These devotions are like talking to a girlfriend from the heart. They are reminders and thoughts that help me as a wife and mom. If you love Jen Hatmaker, you'll love these devotions. I have read the book a couple times and will read the devotions again.
