I was so touched that something like this exists. I didn't know the difference between the updated books and this one, so I just ordered what my friend had. And I ordered four: one for her to give to her daughter, one for my mom and two for me to give to my sons. My husband died unexpectedly recently and I thought what a wonderful gift this would have been for him to pass on his wisdom and thoughts. Although not everything in this book pertains to me, I figured I would just change those pages to something that would be relevant to me and my family. I can't wait to give this precious gift to my family.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. A fantastic way to connect with your childBy MMCLove this book. It was recommended by a friend. Each month you answer questions about yourself that you can share with your children. It helps you to remember your own childhood and to share that with your own daughter. There are so many books where you write the memories and milestones of your children but this is a book where you write about you as a mother and your children learn so much about you. Things like "what was your bedroom like and what was the view out your window" and it takes you right back to your childhood. It sparks a lot of conversation for your child to learn about what your childhood was like. Love it.
