Love in the jaws of divorceBy JaneA Love Story, How God Pursued Me Found Me: An Impossibly True Story is a book that will leave any woman with very mixed emotions. I first got shivers at the ugliness that is divorce, then angry at how some people would go to any lengths just to ensure others are unhappy and finally hope, at the fact that the one true love we all share despite lifes beatings, is God. The author of the book is a woman whose life was almost torn apart by divorce and she tells the story from a first-person point of view. This makes it feel like reading someones drama-filled journal. She goes into detail about the lengths at which her husband went to just to keep her kids away from her and the emotions she was undergoing all through. She did not think there was any hope but she found solace in God; and by letting go of her anger and pain and forgiving her ex-husband, she was able to open her heart to another man, who was aware of her inadequacies and took her as she was. Excellent bookBy SamanthaThis was my first Samantha Chandler book but it most definitely will not be my last. Victorious Underdog is one of the best written books I have ever read which made it impossible to put down. I basically read it straight through. Hands down my new favorite for 2017. It's well written and it kept me on the edge of my seat from the beginning to the end. This is definitely a page turner and worth the read. I loved the character development. The conclusion is worth waiting for. If you're looking for a story that'll keep you on the edge of your seat, this book is a must read. Keeping it realBy laura dobbinsThis is written as a diary filled with thoughts and emotions of events in the person's life. It is study of the human soul and it's resilience as much as a self search for a higher power. Having endured at the hands of a cruel and possibly mad women, the writer goes on to live a rollercoaster of a life at times dining with country leaders while at the lowest points being disconnected from her own children due to her husband's plots against her. This story is also a testimony of God and his unwavering love. I think people who like testimonies or stories of overcoming the tragedies of life will really enjoy this book.
