I have suffered from my own bouts of passive aggression towards others and this really helped me understand why this happened and how to leave that kind of unproductive behavior in the dust. It also gives help on how to deal with others who express this kind of behavior. I LOVED the advice on not copying the other person's behavior - fighting fire with fire doesn't help the situation. This book was chock full of great examples. All of the advice made sense and kept me hooked. I plan to come back to this book during times where I feel I am returning back to this negative behavior, or notice others being passive aggressive. So helpful.6 of 6 people found the following review helpful. A Comprehensive Look At Passive Aggressive BehaviorBy E.P. HuffingtonThe examples in the book on "Geoff" really bring the origins of how we can easily develop passive aggressive behavior. What I got out of this book is both the root causes of the behavior, and particularly we all have acted out in this manner one time or another. I like the analysis on how to cope, deal with someone who is passive aggressive as well as what not to do when dealing. This is a recommended book -- one that is very comprehensive and factual.4 of 4 people found the following review helpful. Extremely HelpfulBy Terry TA lot of truth in this book. A must read for anyone who is or deals with someone who is passive aggressive. This book does a good job of providing insight into the mind of a passive aggressive person, how they became that way, and how to overcome it. I know first hand that dealing with a passive aggressive person can be very difficult at times, and educating yourself on the behavior is the first step towards getting help. If you dont know where to start, then this book is a great place to begin.
