"Fit to Burst highlights a mother's need to rely on Christ as she joyfully feeds hungry tummies, honors her husband, and trains her children. Rachel's artful encouragement highlights the sufficiency of Christ for these things and gives us a clarion call to faithfulness in the midst of everyday motherhood." --Gloria Furman, author, Glimpses of Grace: Treasuring the Gospel in Your Home"If you liked Loving the Little Years, you will like Fit to Burst even more. It was one of my favorite reads of the year (if a guy can say that about a book written by a woman for women)." --Tony Reinke, content strategist for Desiring God and author, Lit!: A Christian Guide to Reading Books"Punchy...relatable...timely...encouraging..." --WORLD MagazineAbout the AuthorRachel Jankovic is a wife, homemaker, and mother. Such an encouraging and challenging book for mothers of children at any age.By kwhis185Rachel Jankovic has such a graceful way of placing your pitfalls in front of your face without slapping you with them. Mothering is a difficult job, one that requires a lot of selfless giving. She doesn't make you feel like you've failed miserably but, rather, commiserates and then encourages you to grow and change. I recommend this book to all my mom friends and those who want to be mothers someday.1 of 1 people found the following review helpful. Practical and EncouragingBy AMMThis was a great and practical book on God-glorifying motherhood. It challenged my thinking yet was easy enough to read after getting the kids to bed. I love how Rachel clarifies the frustrations of our days in an eternal perspective. "Loving the Little Years" and "Fit to Burst" are great books for moms of littles.0 of 0 people found the following review helpful. Practical and encouragingBy The DowningsAs a mom overseas I found this book perfectly applicable to our family in navigating motherhood in all the cultural confusion. It wasn't targeted at anything about life overseas, but was broad enough to apply to our life, which seems hard to come by! It lifted my spirits and brought some sense into the craziness of parenting my active 2 year old while learning language and preparing for even more transitions ahead.
