Worth reading!By Laura AumenParents need to know why spanking and beating kids is the wrong thing for their mental state. Mentally, it last with them for a life time. I worked with a guy who said "I've seen enough strippers and pornography to know why NOT to spank and beat my girls". I was astounded that a dad "got it" and didn't do it. I got this book for a dad that didn't "get it" and sent it to him anonymously. I don't know if it helped, but there sure was great info in there about what it does to your kids mentally.If you want to stop spanking your children, or if you know someone that needs to stop, this is a good book. Not spanking your children, takes educating the parents and then the parents "thinking" before they act.2 of 22 people found the following review helpful.
