About the AuthorT. Mitchell Holmes earned a baccalaureate in business management with twenty four open electives credits in human service and social science studies at Monroe College in New York. Most of the book was written during his last two semesters as he observed how many of his male colleagues that started out with him, dropped out long before he finished. Though he loved the college, he observed how "female friendly" the school's policies, staff, and admin board were towards the female students but very stern and standoff-ish towards the male students. He and other male students discussed the lack of encouragement they received from the school and wondered how they even made it. The author is from New York but lived between Los Angeles and New York for the past 6 years where most of his experiences for the book came from. Both cities are densely populated and two of the most important economic cities in the world; the perfect place for such a fiery subject. Lastly, the author is the father of three children, two daughters and one son; a daughter and son from a previous marriage and a daughter from his current marriage. what classifies as a book Women Have Rights Men have Responsibilities: Surviving in an anti-Male, Female obsessed culture

Holmes tells it like it is. I was immensely satisfied throughout, so much that my mental fist was often pumping in the air. It has become something of a cliche' but this IS one of those books that should be required reading for high school boys in preparation for the world that they are entering. Bravo!
