Thank you Danu MorriganBy NBI'm getting a lot from this book (and also her first book), having been brought up by what I'm convinced is a mother with NPD. All my life I knew something was wrong, and it's taken me 55 years to figure out what it was. When I started researching different situations I had been in with my mother, wondering if anyone else had ever experienced anything similar, I was amazed to find many communities of women online who had gone through almost the exact same things -- it's really kind of bizarre, and quite sad. But since it's what we grew up with, and all we knew, it took a long time to realize not everyone had the same challenges with their mother, and it's difficult to put your finger on what the problem is.
