I first became acquainted with this book when our eldest daughter presented it to me and suggested I complete it for our youngest daughter. This book is a wonderful way to share the stories of three generations...grandmother, mother and daughter. I was able to complete the first section with stories from my own mother before her death. Then I put the book down and did not get back to it for many years. Recently I dusted it off and decided I wanted to complete it for our eldest daughter. Since she originated the idea, I thought she would most enjoy the finished project. As I finished my (the mother's) portion and began the portion about her, I realized each of our daughters would treasure such a book. That is when I searched for it on . I wasn't sure the book was still around, and was thrilled to be able to purchase two more identical books. The art work in the book is lovely. The subject matters are addressed in such a way that your mind easily travels back to retrieve the memories and stories you want to share with the next generations. Each of the three sections prompts you to tell childhood experiences, challenges of growing up, teen years, dating, marriage. Along the way it asks about likes and dislikes, thoughts, best friends, secrets, and many, many more details. It is wonderful fun and enchanting as it takes you down memory lane. I will NOT be able to use it - it will be put in the trash as it is not worth the postage of returning it. Disappointed.
