Every book I searched for was focused on how to save your marriage or how to win your spouse back. This book guides you on whether or not you want to reconcile. It explains what you need to do and how to move on with your life. My wife of 13 years suddenly walked out of our marriage and said she had not loved me for the past 3 years. The fact we had two young children together did not even seem to concern her. She never tried to work on our marriage and simply wanted out. She had no emotion and showed no sign of being concerned about anyone she hurt. I never had any warnings and was completely shocked, devastated and confused. I accepted that she may never come back but I wanted to understand how this happened and why. After reading this book, it opened my eyes to a lot of things. I especially loved the chapter on the three reasons someone leaves a marriage. I know now that my wife was "pulled out" of our marriage. She was getting close to another guy when all this happened however she claimed he had nothing to do with it. I actually began to believe this may have been true. However as I read this book, it gave me chills as it described how "pull outs" leave a marriage and everything explained in the book matched my wife 100%. The book helped me understand what was going on and how I needed to move on. This was a VERY easy read for me but I am sure it would be harder for a husband who's reading this because of his wife leaving him. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this book if your spouse has left you!
