The pages are oriented as to landscape, rather than portrait which is a plus. The pages are in color and there are many helpful hints inside it. Originally published around the turn of the century (1990s to 2000s) the information is timeless. Great gift for newlywedsBy SEThis book was purchased for a bride and groom and filled out by the respective families, leaving the blank pages for them to fill in their own memories and space for notation of future children.No it is not comprehensive, but is a very nice way to combine families. Our newlyweds loved it as it is a written record of their new family.A great gift, especially if you provide the information that young people may not know, such as their great-grandparents, whom the couple's parents will remember as their grandparents.
